As the Clinical Director of B.clinic, Dr. Fernando Baptista completed his medical degree at the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Porto in 1990 and specialized in Plastic, Reconstructive, and Aesthetic Surgery at Hospital de Santa Maria in Lisbon in 1998.
Born in Esposende, Braga, he has resided in Madeira since 1990, where he has been practicing as a specialist in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery since 1999.
Director of the Plastic, Reconstructive, and Aesthetic Surgery Service at the Funchal Hospital Center.
Member of the Board of the College of Reconstructive and Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, elected for the 2024-2026 term.
Invited lecturer for the Basic Cycle of Medicine at UMA/Integrated Master’s Degree in Medicine at the Faculty of Medicine of Lisbon, and at the São José de Cluny School of Nursing and the University of Madeira.
With over 12,000 aesthetic plastic surgeries performed and author of numerous national and international publications, he is a prominent figure in national Plastic Surgery.
Alongside the art of surgery, which fascinates me, I’ve had a passion for handling cutlery since a young age. I do it with pleasure and skill, especially at a table with friends or family, my safe haven, and I enjoy dedicating myself to the art of grilling whenever I can. I also have another passion that I don’t hide: I love traveling and exploring different worlds, their cultures, and, of course, their cuisines!
