Fractional Rejuvenation

The desire to look and stay young has driven a growing demand for advanced anti-ageing treatments and protocols. Recent developments in laser technology now offer a longer-lasting and scientifically proven method to restore the skin’s natural beauty. Unlike traditional treatments such as dermabrasion or chemical peels, the unique characteristics of laser skin resurfacing allow for far more precise control over the treatment process.

Skin resurfacing and rejuvenation treatments can be performed using either ablative or non-ablative modes, depending on the aesthetic goals agreed upon between the patient and the physician.

Technical Description

TwinLight® Fractional Rejuvenation is a simple three-step procedure optimised to significantly improve skin smoothness and provide a fresher, healthier appearance. The deep heating effect of Fotona’s Nd:YAG laser rejuvenates and stimulates the skin, while the Er:YAG laser helps the body generate new, firmer tissue.

Step 1 – Conditioning

An Nd:YAG beam is passed twice over the skin’s surface. The first pass provides a short stimulus to the skin, while the second penetrates deeper into the tissue, producing FRAC3® deep heating that prepares the skin for effective fractional therapy.

Step 2 – Fractional Therapy

A fractional Er:YAG laser removes aged and damaged skin. The precise micro-ablation channels created are gradually replaced by new, tighter, and healthier tissue as fresh skin emerges.

Step 3 – Peeling

Finally, a gentle Er:YAG light beam is used to remove superficial imperfections, completing the treatment and revealing a smoother, revitalised surface.
